Encompass Health, a leading provider of rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Cumming in Cumming, GA. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of patient care programs, policies, and procedures. You will ensure that patients' needs for nursing care, treatment, and services are met while promoting a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care programs, policies, and procedures
• Assess, evaluate, and meet patients' needs for nursing care, treatment, and services
• Support cultural diversity and promote an inclusive work environment
• Provide culturally competent, patient-centered care
• Conduct cultural diversity and sensitivity training for new employees

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (unrestricted)
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of hire
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirement
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• Minimum of two years recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting
• Experience in leadership roles with responsibility for reporting, issue resolution, and setting direction

Physical Requirements

• Good visual acuity and effective communication skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Ability to push/pull a minimum of 30 pounds
