Job Responsibilities:

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing outpatient care at The Center for Mental Health
• Make recommendations and assist in the coordination of care for patients
• Provide direct clinical therapy to patients using primarily group treatment

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a mental health discipline (PhD or PsyD preferred)
• Current Connecticut license required: LCSW, LMFT, LPC
• Minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and appropriate treatment techniques
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
