  • Shift Details: Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM

Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Health Clinician at Turning Point, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy techniques
  • Preparing appropriate medical documentation to meet regulatory requirements
  • Assessing and planning care for clients and families
  • Providing in-home clinical services and crisis intervention
  • Continuous education and support for clients and family members
  • Working effectively across programs for clients with mental health and substance use disorders
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to provide integrated healthcare delivery
  • Conducting emergency evaluations for clients in the community
  • Participating in team meetings, clinical supervision, and staff education

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active CT License in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Marital & Family Therapy
  • Minimum of three years experience in dealing with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse population
  • Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, and individual and group therapy
  • Proficiency in using a computer and basic keyboarding skills
