The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine
The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine offers advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine therapies to patients throughout Southern New England. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized wound care services to patients with complex wounds, promoting healing and improving quality of life.
Responsibilities:
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our Wound Care/Wound Center, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive diagnosis and wound assessments
- Ordering appropriate lab tests and imaging studies
- Managing hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments
- Coordinating patient care, including nursing care, medications, and wound therapies
- Reviewing patient charts and completing required medical record documentation
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
- Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant
- Wound care certification or experience preferred
