Hartford HealthCare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Cardiology team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Role and Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will work alongside noninvasive, interventional, structural heart, electrophysiology, and heart failure physicians to provide direct care to patients in the inpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with physicians to diagnose and develop treatment plans
- Administering therapeutic and corrective measures in accordance with the scope of practice
- Identifying and communicating emergent diagnostic information to physicians
- Exhibiting a passion for cardiology and adaptability to a rapidly growing institute
- Working a full-time day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with one weekend a month and no nights/overnights
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant Master's Program
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a NP or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Connecticut
- Experience in cardiology preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
