As an LPN/LVN, you will perform a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will provide direct care to patients, carrying out their plans of care and observing their behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment. You will work with a wide range of diagnoses and help patients work towards their goals of being discharged and returning to their lives, families, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Provide direct care to patients and carry out their plans of care
• Observe patients' behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Work with a wide range of diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, joint replacement, fractures, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions
• Help patients work towards goals of being discharged and returning to their lives, families, and communities

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN licensure appropriate to state regulations
• Current CPR certification
• One or more years of experience within an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting preferred
• Rehabilitation experience preferred
