Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Clinician to join our team at Windham Hospital. As a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department and coordinate care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. This important role will involve responding to crisis calls and working collaboratively with the emergency department team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments in the Emergency Department and make appropriate care recommendations
• Coordinate with the emergency department team to ensure proper follow-up care
• Respond to crisis calls and provide necessary support and intervention
• Collaborate with community resources to ensure continuity of care for patients

Requirements:

• Current CT license as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
• Master's degree in a mental health discipline
• Minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
