Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to join our team in the ED Behavioral Health department. As part of Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. With a minimum of 16 hours per month, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and coordinate care within the Emergency Department. This role requires a current CT license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC), a master's degree in a mental health discipline, and at least two years of experience in a psychiatric setting. • Job Shift: Shift 1
• Shift Details: Variable shift coverage based on availability - Minimum of 16 hours/month

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department
• Make recommendations and assist in the coordination of care for patients presenting with behavioral health and substance abuse needs
• Respond to crisis calls

Qualifications:

• Current CT license LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
• Master's degree in mental health discipline required
• A minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting required, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
