Summary
Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to join our team in the ED Behavioral Health department. In this per diem role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department, making recommendations and assisting in the coordination of care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs. You will work collaboratively with the emergency department and respond to crisis calls. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department
- Make recommendations and assist in the coordination of care for patients with behavioral health and substance abuse needs
- Collaborate with the emergency department team to ensure holistic patient care
- Respond to crisis calls
- Provide variable shift coverage based on availability
Qualifications
- Current CT license LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
- Master’s degree in a mental health discipline required
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
