Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing inpatient, outpatient, and community care for clients and families across the continuum of care. You will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, couple, group, and family therapy. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure integrated delivery of healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care using various therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's needs
- Prepare accurate and thorough medical documentation
- Assess clients' psychiatric and psychosocial needs and prioritize care and treatment
- Educate clients and family members on resources and support options
- Proficiently work with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Collaborate with healthcare partners to deliver integrated care
- Participate in administrative activities, team meetings, and supervision
- Seek continuous learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Masterโs Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- 3 years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric and substance use populations
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and individual/group therapy skills
- Active CT LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LADC license
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required for Latino Program
