  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Hartford, CT
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30

Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Health Clinician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct client care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy
  • Assessing clients' psychiatric and psychosocial needs and coordinating treatment plans
  • Offering in-home clinical services and crisis intervention
  • Educating clients and family members about available resources and support groups
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure integrated healthcare delivery
  • Performing emergency evaluations for clients in the community

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active CT License in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counseling, or Marital & Family Therapy
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse population
  • Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, and individual/group therapy
  • Proficiency in using computers and basic keyboarding skills
