As a Services Team Manager, you will take ownership of the HVAC Service delivery functions for the Service team. This includes managing the work-in-progress (WIP), labor and material pipeline, and labor resourcing and planning. You will lead the field team to achieve operational KPIs, drive operational excellence, and oversee contract renewals. Additionally, you will manage technician development through training, coaching, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on leadership: Lead the field team to achieve operational KPIs and drive operational excellence.
  • WIP management: Manage the work-in-progress (WIP) list to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Schedule and report management: Review and manage schedules and reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer account reviews: Conduct customer account reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling.
  • Contract renewal activities: Oversee contract renewal activities to maintain customer relationships and secure future business.
  • L&M pipeline management: Drive labor and material (L&M) pipeline management activities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Labor resourcing and planning: Manage labor resources by forecasting and planning technician assignments.
  • Technician development: Support technician development through on-the-job training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Field ride-alongs: Undertake field ride-alongs with technicians to provide guidance and on-site support.

Requirements

  • Experience with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
