Summary

Australian Regional & Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is actively seeking a First Nations Programs Team Leader - Cultural Programs to join their team in Darwin. This is a permanent, full-time role where you will be responsible for delivering, supporting, and mentoring ARRCS' First Nations programs to support the organization's Reconciliation Action Plan. As the Team Leader, you will work closely with the Regional Manager and oversee a team of Cultural Specialists who provide mentoring and guidance within aged care facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver, support, and mentor ARRCS' First Nations programs
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to implement the Reconciliation Action Plan
  • Manage a team of Cultural Specialists, providing mentoring and guidance
  • Advocate and promote First Nations programs within a healthcare environment
  • Oversee budget management and government funding models
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Community Services or a similar discipline
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Proven experience in a similar organizational role
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and implementing Indigenous Employment Programs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Hold a current unrestricted driver's license
