About the Opportunity

We are seeking an expert Senior Manager to drive eBay Australia's P&A Category Strategy and Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a team and leading the strategic planning, development, and execution of the P&A category within eBay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
• Stay informed of category news, conduct market research, and provide insightful analytics to inform category decisions.
• Lead a team to capture, analyze, and present seller and buyer insights obtained through market research tools, data dashboards, and collaboration with global colleagues.
• Develop pricing strategies for buyers and sellers, drive category growth, and ensure alignment with promotional requirements.
• Represent eBay AU P&A initiatives with global and international colleagues to ensure collaborative ways of working.
• Conduct supply and inventory gap analysis and identify opportunities for growth.
• Develop partnerships with key industry partners to support category growth.
• Identify and lead strategic projects related to product and policy enhancements.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create initiatives that support category growth and align with eBay's overall marketing strategy.
• Lead the launch of new features and experience changes as the Product Marketing expert.
• Serve as eBay AU's industry expert and media spokesperson for category topics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a strategic planning or category management role, with P&A industry understanding.
• Solid analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Strong ability to influence partners and collaborate on cross-functional teams.
• Ability to gather and analyze data to form insights and recommendations.
• Experience in E-commerce.
