Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor will supervise the program and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services. You will provide direct patient care specific to each patient's needs and coordinate with various departments to meet milieu needs. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will also coordinate and oversee services with collaborative providers.
Responsibilities
- Model the effective, efficient operation of the program by scheduling and assigning work, resolving processing problems, and continually improving quality and productivity.
- Implement and monitor departmental goals and objectives, develop recommendations, and provide coaching and development to direct reports.
- Collaborate with other departments and programs to build consistency and efficiencies.
- Review documentation and medical records to ensure proper care is being provided.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a behavioral health related field, Social Work preferred.
- 1 year of supervisory experience, clinical awareness, and insight required.
- 5 years of direct clinical practice preferred.
- Current licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT or PsyD in the State of CT.
- Strong communication skills required - both written and verbal. Bilingual language skills preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements
- Understanding of external regulatory agencies and requirements.
- Ability to lead staff.
- Effective communication skills.
- LEAN daily management experience.
- Understanding of mental health and substance abuse.
- Awareness of local resources and understanding of internal and external systems.
