Role and Responsibilities

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate drug literature, analyze experimental design, and compare therapeutic regimens to maximize clinical outcomes.
  • Provide support to staff pharmacists and clinical specialists to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary patient care committees and coordinate drug use evaluations.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to assess the value of pharmacy clinical services.
  • Collaborate with system councils to develop drug regimens, order sets, and protocols.
  • Coordinate ongoing clinical education for pharmacy staff and other caregivers.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Three or more years of health-system pharmacist experience.
  • One or more years of experience in a pharmacy leadership position or as a clinical pharmacist.
  • Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible to receive licensure within 45 days.
