Responsibilities

As the Clinical Coordinator Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating drug literature and serving as an authoritative information resource on drugs and their utilization to promote optimal drug therapy for patients
• Providing support to staff pharmacists and clinical specialists to ensure optimal patient care
• Participating in pharmacy clinical support teams and multidisciplinary patient care committees
• Developing and monitoring metrics to assess the value of pharmacy clinical services
• Coordinating ongoing clinical education for pharmacy staff and other caregivers

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• Three or more years of health-system pharmacist experience
• One or more years of experience in a pharmacy leadership position or as a clinical pharmacist
• Licensure as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligibility within 45 days
