As the Clinical Coordinator Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services at our St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport. This includes ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care, formulary management, and the coordination of clinical pharmacy activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating drug literature and providing authoritative information on drugs and their utilization
• Supporting staff pharmacists and clinical specialists to ensure optimal patient care
• Participating in multidisciplinary patient care committees and coordinating drug use evaluations
• Developing and implementing metrics to measure the value of pharmacy clinical services
• Providing clinical education to pharmacy staff and other caregivers

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Three or more years of health-system pharmacist experience
• One or more years of experience in a pharmacy leadership position or as a clinical pharmacist
• Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible for licensure within 45 days
