As a Goodwill Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular staff meetings to improve communication
• Developing a superior workforce through coaching and development plans
• Reviewing production results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Monitoring staff productivity and taking appropriate actions to correct deficiencies
• Assisting with scheduling and forecasting salary expenditures
• Timely and accurate reporting related to HR, Safety/Asset Protection, and Accounting
• Ensuring store performance meets budgets for revenue, payroll, and controllable expenses

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• Sensitive to guest needs and wishes
• Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities or other special needs preferred
• Strong computer skills and competence in internet use and various software applications
• Experience in profit and loss, sales, or cost management accountability
• Strong interpersonal, communication, monetary, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in the English language for effective communication

The physical requirements for this position include:

• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
• Physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements
• Lift and carry 20-100 pounds with team lifting or mechanical assistance
• Stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods
• Go up and down steps
• Stand and walk entire shift
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, longer shifts, and travel if necessary
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance

Experience

• 0-2 years of retail or comparable management experience
