Summary:

Michael Page Australia is currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our client, a forward-thinking leader in the infrastructure and utilities industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting data, preparing monthly financial reports, and overseeing functions such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. As a Financial Accountant, you will also collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners to analyze business trends and support annual budgeting and forecasting.

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy
• Interact and liaise with stakeholders and business partners
• Assist the larger finance team with project and process improvements

Requirements:

• CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create detailed reports
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Previous experience as a Financial Accountant in a fast-paced work environment
