Cummins Inc. is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our Field Service team as a Diesel Mechanic- Field Service (FIFO). Role and Responsibilities
As a Diesel Mechanic- Field Service (FIFO), you will:
- Perform fleet maintenance on heavy diesel products and mining equipment.
- Conduct fault diagnostics and repair engines, both major and minor.
- Collaborate with other major OEMs such as Hitachi, Komatsu, and Liebherr.
- Fly on a FIFO roster from one of 5 capital cities: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, or Brisbane.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards).
- Previous field service experience in servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines, or similar applications (preferably with an OEM).
- Solid diagnostic, electronic, and IT capabilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits

- $5,000 sign-on bonus.
