Summary:
Hartford HealthCare is currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a vital role in the Radiology department, performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures. You will provide high-quality images to be interpreted by radiologists and physicians, contributing to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies, and interventional procedures.
- Utilize principles of growth and development to assess individual patient needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
- Collaborate with other departments such as O.R., I.R., and hospital inpatient units as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records.
Qualifications:
- Registered or Registry eligible with ARDMS/RDMS.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Maintain continuing education credits.
