Summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures, providing high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians. You will utilize your knowledge of growth and development to assess each patient's individual needs and provide personalized treatment and care. This position is 100% clinical, with the possibility of performing procedures in various departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies, and interventional procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Evaluate image quality, make adjustments as necessary, and communicate any abnormalities or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Follow proper infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Requirements

• Registered or Registry eligible with ARDMS/RDMS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to continuing education.
