Ultrasound Technologist - Radiology

Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure. You will provide high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. This position may require performing procedures in various departments of the hospital, such as O.R. and I.R. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies, and interventional procedures
• Utilize your expertise to assess each patient's individual age-specific needs
• Provide excellent patient care during procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Registered or Registry eligible - ARDMS/RDMS
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain continuing education credits
