• Position: Ultrasound Technologist
• Department: Radiology - Shattuck
• Schedule: Part-time (24 hours)

Responsibilities

As an Ultrasound Technologist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing a wide variety of exams as required for proper workflow
• Assisting physicians during sterile invasive procedures
• Preparing exam rooms and equipment for sonography examinations
• Providing quality scans for Radiology and other departments
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety during examinations
• Following departmental policies and procedures
• Maintaining equipment and maximizing uptime
• Providing patient-focused customer service
• Communicating with patients in a professional manner

Requirements

To qualify for the Ultrasound Technologist position, you must have:

• Associate's degree or certificate program in diagnostic medical sonography
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification (OB or AB or RVT)
• Experience in a related clinical area is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
