Summary:

We are seeking a Triage Clinician with a license in LCSW, LPC, or LMFT to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health department. As a Triage Clinician, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric triage, crisis intervention, and comprehensive assessments. This is a full-time opportunity with the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

In this role, you will work closely with our Clinical Manager of Outpatient Behavioral Health to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. Your responsibilities will include receiving telephone referrals, conducting comprehensive assessments, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and providing support to clinicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and triage telephone referrals from patients and providers
  • Conduct comprehensive admission assessments with patients, collecting relevant clinical information
  • Provide mental health telephone triage and assign individuals to appropriate programs
  • Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes according to established guidelines
  • Verify insurance benefits for patients and monitor revenue
  • Schedule patient appointments and ensure timely follow-up
  • Collect and organize data related to process improvement measures
  • Maintain accurate and organized records
  • Provide administrative support to clinicians and enhance clinical productivity
  • Interact with patients and their families in a caring and supportive manner
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe environment

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling
  • Active LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license required
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting
