Job Summary:

As a Triage Clinician, you will work under the supervision of the Clinical Manager of Outpatient Behavioral Health. Your primary responsibilities will include psychiatric triage, telephone crisis intervention, assessment of clinical need, and completion of comprehensive assignments. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of youth by providing them with the support and care they need.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric triage for calls and assign patients to appropriate programs
• Perform comprehensive admission assessments with patients, collecting relevant information
• Provide preliminary diagnostic impressions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
• Verify insurance coverage for patients
• Schedule patient appointments
• Collect and organize data related to process improvement measures
• Provide clinical and administrative support to clinicians
• Interact with patients and their families in a compassionate and engaging manner

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling
• Active LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license required
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting
