Valet Living is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual with an open-bed pickup truck or vehicle hauling a trailer to join our team as an Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet). As a Trash Collector, your main responsibilities will include:

• Using your own truck to transport trash bags collected from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor at the apartment community.
• Taking required photos using our company's App during service to track arrival, departure, and non-compliance.
• Working within a 10-15 minute driving distance from your assigned property.

This part-time position typically involves working 5 nights a week from Sunday through Thursday, with shifts lasting 2-4 hours. Start times may vary, but most shifts begin at either 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm. Part-time hours range from 10-15+ hours per week. As a Trash Collector with a pickup truck or vehicle using a trailer, you will receive the higher end of our pay range to compensate for the use of your vehicle.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Have a reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
• Capable of adapting to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of changing weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to walk the distance of the property and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
• Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
• Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.
• No prior experience is necessary as we provide hands-on, paid training from day one.
