Encompass Health is seeking a motivated and experienced Therapy Team Leader to join our team. As the Therapy Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in the day-to-day operations of a therapy team. We are looking for an individual with effective supervisory skills, excellent communication abilities, and competency in a licensed discipline evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment. • Salary: $124,000-$140,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in day-to-day operations of a therapy team or discipline
• Delegate and supervise tasks of therapist assistants and technicians
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, orientation, training, and communications
• Provide adequate coverage for patient treatments
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Current State license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited therapy program
• Minimum of three years' discipline-specific or leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a clinical setting
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification (preferred)
