Hartford HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Staff RN to join our Crisis Services team. In this part-time role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families as you provide exceptional care and support during times of crisis.

  • Position: Staff RN - Crisis Services
  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Schedule: 24 hours per week
  • Shift: 3rd Shift
  • Shift Details: Two 12-hour shifts per week, from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am. Rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities

As a Staff RN in Crisis Services, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients and families in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and medical staff directions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment and demonstrate strong independent problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues through verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Staff RN position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Previous RN experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Self-directed in the management of patient care.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent problem-solving skills.
