As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing speech-language treatment and patient care, adhering to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Supervising fellows, technicians, and assistants
• Maintaining open communication with hospital departments to ensure that patient, staff, and hospital needs are met

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Current state licensure or certification
• CPR certification preferred
• Completed an accredited master's or bachelor's degree program in speech-language pathology
• Demonstrated competence in evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
