Encompass Health offers a unique opportunity to work in a post-acute care setting, where you can directly impact patients' lives as they recover from stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, joint replacements, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions. In this role, you will be able to form meaningful relationships with patients and celebrate their successes as they regain independence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Delegate tasks and supervise fellows, technicians, and assistants
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to meet patient, staff, and hospital needs

Requirements:

• Current state licensure or certification
• CPR certification preferred
• Completion of an accredited master's degree or bachelor's degree program
• Competence in speech-language pathology evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
