Responsibilities

As an SLP at Encompass Health, you will:

• Provide speech-language treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Delegate tasks and supervise fellows, technicians, and assistants
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Successful completion of an accredited master's or bachelor's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology
• Demonstrated competence in speech-language pathology evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
