As an Encompass Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will work in our Rehabilitation Hospital of Cumming located in Cumming, GA. In this engaging opportunity, you will provide speech-language treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines. You will also delegate tasks, supervise fellows, technicians, and assistants, and maintain ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure that patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.

Credentials

To qualify, you must have current state licensure or certification, preferably CPR certification, and successful completion of an accredited master's degree program or an accredited bachelor's degree program with sufficient experience in the field. You should also demonstrate competence in speech-language pathology evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment. Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers are essential.
