Summary:
Ascension is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN Director of Nursing to join our team at Borgess Place Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. As the Director of Nursing, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership and oversight to the long-term care nursing area, ensuring high-quality resident care and adhering to all medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation, a sign-on bonus of $10,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
As the RN Director of Nursing, your responsibilities will include:

Developing departmental goals and objectives consistent with healthcare delivery system requirements

Directing all clinical services and programs to ensure high-quality resident care

Planning and organizing staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, and evaluating staff

Monitoring budget and ensuring compliance with allocated funds

Coordinating and directing audits
-
Monitoring admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse licensure
- BLS Provider certification preferred
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience required
- 10+ years of experience preferred
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience required
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience preferred
