Ascension is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing department in a long-term care facility. • Schedule: Full-time Days; On-call As Needed

• Location: Kalamazoo, MI
• Salary Midpoint: $106,080.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Direct services, workflow, and resources for the assigned long-term care nursing area.
• Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
• Plan, organize, and evaluate all clinical services and programs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Coordinate and direct internal and external audits.
• Monitor admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider preferred.
• Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree.
  • Master's degree preferred.
• Work Experience:
  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

• Long Term Care Experience Preferred
