Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment
• Developing individualized care plans based on diagnosis
• Implementing and monitoring patient care plan
• Performing advanced respiratory care modalities
• Evaluating respiratory practice based on patient outcomes
• Educating patients and families about their health conditions
• Administering medications related to respiratory diseases

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Licensed Respiratory Care Therapist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
• Certified BLS Provider
• Completion of a Respiratory Care Program
• 6 months to 1 year of experience (new graduates will be considered)
