Job Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients with minimal guidance, ensuring the provision of high-quality treatment and support.
• Administer oxygen, medical gases, aerosolized medications, and operate positive pressure breathing devices and ventilators.
• Perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills through additional training and certification courses.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) granted by The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• State of Connecticut Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• BLS certification required.
