Hartford HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Redding, CT. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Responsibilities
- Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment based on diagnosis
- Develop a personalized plan of care for each patient
- Implement and monitor patient care plan
- Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
- Evaluate respiratory practice and treatment effectiveness
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and available support programs
- Maintain infection control policies related to patient care
- Safely administer medications related to respiratory diseases
Qualifications
- Licensed Respiratory Care Therapist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Completion of a Respiratory Care Program
- 6 months to 1 year of experience (new graduates will be considered)
