Position Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing care to patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Your expertise will contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes and ensure the highest level of respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans based on diagnosis
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
• Evaluate respiratory practice and treatment effectiveness
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and available support programs
• Maintain infection control policies
• Safely administer medications related to respiratory diseases

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
• Certified BLS Provider from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Completion of a Respiratory Care Program
• 6 months to 1 year of experience
