Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team. In this role, you will provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and educate patients and their families.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment based on diagnosis
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and record patient condition
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
• Evaluate respiratory practice and treatment effectiveness
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and available support programs

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
• Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Completion of a Respiratory Care Program
• 6 months to 1 year of experience (new graduates will be considered)
