Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care treatments and provide therapies to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
• Administer oxygen and medical gases, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory therapies
• Utilize ventilators and resuscitation devices to support patients' breathing
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments
• Assess and address each patient's individual age-specific needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care
• Participate in additional training and certification courses to expand your expertise in specialized clinical areas

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program
• CRT certification by N.B.R.C. required, RRT certification preferred
• State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner license required
• BLS certification required
