Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing respiratory care to patients with minimal guidance
• Performing therapy, management, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluations
• Administering oxygen, medical gases, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments
• Performing pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality service to patient care units

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you will need:

• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program
• CRT certification by N.B.R.C. required, RRT registered by N.B.R.C. within 6 months from date of hire
• State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner license required
• BLS certification required
