Job Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with minimal guidance, including therapy, management, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Administer oxygen, medical gases, aerosolized medications, ventilators, and other respiratory therapy procedures.
  • Perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments to support patient care.
  • Assess individual age-specific needs of patients and provide specialized treatments and care accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and quality service in clinical and critical care settings.

Job Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification granted by The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • BLS certification.
