Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients and developing a care plan based on diagnosis
• Implementing and monitoring patient care plan
• Performing advanced respiratory care modalities
• Educating patients and families about health conditions and available support programs
• Evaluating therapy effectiveness and suggesting alternatives when appropriate
• Maintaining infection control policies
• Safely administering medications related to respiratory diseases
• Performing pulmonary function screening and weaning parameters

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have the following:

• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Completion of a Respiratory Care Program
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience (new graduates will also be considered)
