Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Administering oxygen and other medical gases
• Providing aerosolized medications
• Operating positive pressure breathing devices and ventilators
• Performing pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments
• Assisting patients in improving their breathing
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Graduated from an AMA-approved school of respiratory therapy
• Current Connecticut RCP license
• RRT or CRTT certification
• Previous experience in an acute care setting
• Effective communication skills
