The Hospital of Central Connecticut, an acute-care community teaching hospital, offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. With the support of our talented professionals, we provide a wide variety of specialties and care for patients throughout the region. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will administer respiratory therapy, including the administration of oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, ventilators, and resuscitation devices. You will also perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory therapy
• Current Connecticut RCP license
• RRT or CRTT certification
• Previous experience in an acute care setting
• Effective communication skills
