Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to assist, control, and improve patients' breathing
• administer oxygen, medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, ventilators, resuscitation devices, etc.
• Perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory therapy
• Current Connecticut RCP license
• RRT or CRTT certification
• Previous experience in an acute care setting
• Effective communication skills
