Responsibilities:

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will:

• Administer respiratory therapy to assist, control, and improve patients' breathing
• Administer oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, ventilators, resuscitation devices, etc.
• Perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments
• Perform additional related duties as assigned or necessary

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory therapy
• Current Connecticut RCP license
• RRT or CRTT certification
• Previous experience in an acute care setting
• Effective communication skills
