Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist at Hartford HealthCare, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating equipment and performing radiologic procedures
• Positioning patients and preparing contrast medias
• Producing technically excellent radiographs to assist in diagnosis
• Practicing radiation safety and adhering to safety standards
• Inputting procedural data in RIS and PACS
• Performing exams utilizing various techniques and equipment
• Providing clinical supervision and instruction to students
• Participating in additional projects and meetings

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have:

• Graduate AMA-approved Radiologic Tech program preferred
• Current CT Radiographer License required
• Demonstrated competencies to meet age-specific patient needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire
• Continuing education credits
